ATCSTW Data API
Get your API key.
One key, every dataset — FEC aggregates, lobbying, corporate violations, private equity, health, patents, science. The Free tier is real: 1,000 calls a month, no credit card. Paid tiers unlock on the same key at checkout.

Aggregated public data only — individual donor identities are never exposed (52 U.S.C. § 30111(a)(4)). By creating a key you agree to the API terms.
Your key is shown once.
On creation, the key appears here — and nowhere else, ever. Store it now. If you lose it, mint a new one here and stop using the old one.

X-API-Key: YOUR_KEY
Send it as a header on any call. Keep it out of client-side code and public repositories.

Paid plans continue to secure checkout and unlock on this same key. Docs and the full endpoint reference are in the documentation. Migration from OpenSecrets: the guide.
